Online Meeting Privacy

Here's what we're doing to safeguard your privacy during CLC's virtual gatherings.

CLC uses Zoom to conduct virtual meetings, roundtables, and other online gatherings. Here are the steps we take for each meeting in order to protect the privacy of our members and guests:

  • We never publish meeting login credentials on our website, social media channels, listservs, email blasts, or in any public forum.
  • We require attendees to register on the CLC website. Login credentials are sent via email to registered attendees only.
  • We require a password to access meetings.
  • We utilize Zoom’s Waiting Room feature, ensuring that guests cannot join the meeting before a CLC host is present and that unauthorized guests cannot attend.
  • We block Zoom’s screen sharing and recording features for participants, and we do not record meetings.
  • We prohibit screenshots and recordings of any kind.
