RUNNING VIRTUAL ROUNDTABLE MEETINGS NEW

To set up a virtual roundtable, either email Amanda Stern at astern@ctlibrarians.org or use our Google Form to submit your date/time request. Amanda will schedule the Zoom call, then post the meeting online. Attendees will need to register. They will receive the Zoom call information as part of their registration confirmation.

Resources to help make virtual meetings easier:

What is your role as facilitator?
  • Welcome participants
  • Encourage people to turn on their cameras
  • Let participants know they can call in for the audio if they do not have a microphone and wish to speak during the meeting
  • Encourage people to raise their hand (use the raise hand feature on the toolbar) for their turn to speak
  • Facilitator will call on folks when it’s their turn

Please contact Amanda at astern@ctlibrarians.org with any questions or if you would like to set up a practice session with Zoom. We can do this!
