Our first meeting

Plan future meetings, discuss tracking expenses, enjoy lunch courtesy of our hosts!

Library office administrators, bookkeepers, administrative assistants, etc. are often the only people who do what they do in their respective libraries. The goal of this new roundtable is to build a network of library administrative professionals to share challenges, best practices, etc. Please spread the word!


Join us for our first meeting on Wednesday, March 8 at the Cora J. Belden Library in Rocky Hill. Lunch will be provided. The agenda includes a planning session as well as a discussion about how we process and track invoices and payments.

  2. Future meetings – best time/days to meet
  3. Purpose of Roundtable – future topics
  4. Sharing of job descriptions/list of duties
  5. Discussion - Tracking of expenses
  6. Set date, time and place of next meeting
  7. Adjournment

Registration - Please register by Monday, March 6 using the link above. Note any food allergies/restrictions in the comments field.


Parking - is available around the library, also in parking lot across from the Community Center (next to post office)


Snow date - Wednesday, March 15. If public schools are closed in Rocky Hill, or dismiss early due to weather, the meeting will be postponed to the snow date.
