CLC, CLA, and Mentorship

When you're new to the library profession, where do you turn for answers to the many questions you're sure to have? Luckily, you don't have to go it alone - there are professional organizations that exist to help you, and they're right here in Connecticut. Join other new librarians at the West Hartford Public Library for the next New Librarians Roundtable. We'll hear from representatives of the Connecticut Library Consortium (CLC) and the Connecticut Library Association (CLA) about what their organizations have to offer, including mentorship, continuing education, and other professional support that exists to make your job easier and help you navigate the library world.

The CLC New Librarians Roundtable is forum for new and emerging librarians - those in library school or working in libraries for 5 years or less - to ask questions, get support, and build community.

Registration: Please register using the link above - it just takes a moment.
