Staff Development & Training

Library department heads & supervisors, join your colleagues on Thursday, November 10 at the Silas Bronson Library in Waterbury for a discussion about staff training.

Meaningful staff development and training is very important. How can we train staff members and get them up to speed with all of our procedures and processes in a timely and effective manner? Is it possible? And what is guerrilla training? Fear not, we will discuss tips and ideas on how to train your entire staff, even when you don’t have time to do it.

This is your opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and learn something new. All library department heads and supervisors are welcome. Don't forget to register using the link above.

Parking: To park for free, park in the parking garage (entrances from Field Street, Cottage Place and Bank Street), and take the regular ticket from the machine when you enter.  When you arrive at the library, you will receive a new ticket, which will allow you to leave the garage after the meeting without having to pay. Visit the Silas Bronson Library web site for more parking info and directions.
