Essential Training for Honing Your Advocacy Skills!

Connecticut libraries are reeling in response to the deep cuts proposed in the Governor’s budget. Come learn exactly how you can help the statewide campaign to save library funding. This no-cost webinar will teach you:

  • What actions librarians, media specialists, library staff, board members, trustees, friends and library patrons can take to help restore funding.
  • How to find and educate supporters in your community.
  • What advocacy tools are available for you to use.

Presenter Libby Post has a proven track record of helping libraries restore funding in other states. Come learn what our Connecticut Library Advocacy plan is and how you can lend your voice, pen and network to this effort!

All library directors and staff, board members, trustees, friends and media specialists are strongly urged to take just one hour to hone your advocacy skills. You can’t afford to miss this training!
