Genealogy Roundtable

Join us on Thursday, September 26 for another meeting of the Genealogy Roundtable.

This will be our second meeting as we get together to brainstorm, share ideas, and learn about topics, trends and experiences in genealogical research. This month ---> “How do I teach that?!” Evaluating patron demand, time commitment, and ...facilitating. We plan to discuss program development and explore teaching practices. Allison will talk about the use of library online resources as a teaching & learning tool for genealogy; Rick will talk about using genealogy databases with a youth population; and Tracy will talk about preparing a program, selecting a method of presentation, teaching style and target audience. We’re looking forward to seeing you there (good company and refreshments provided).

The Genealogy Roundtable is open to anyone interested in exploring and sharing resources and strategies for genealogy and family history research.
