Libraries, Homelessness, and Housing Insecurity

Join us for another session on Libraries and the topic of homelessness as we further the conversation and learn about new training available from the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness and talk with key staff from the Friendship Center based in New Britain. We will also discuss how libraries can become institutional stakeholders in this area, what are the possibilities for partnerships, how can we foster dialogue and public education on this topic, and what can we do to better serve this population.

Speakers:

Carl Asikainen (Youth Coordinator at Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness)

Marianne Farr (PATH*/Housing navigator for the Friendship Service Center NB)

Vera Clark (outreach coordinator for PATH* at the Friendship Service Center NB)
