Join us as we discuss genealogy and local history. We’ll take a closer look at national, state, and local resources, and we’ll hear about some notable collections, projects, and activities at libraries around Connecticut. We’ll also talk about library policies on genealogy reference requests, collection development, handling special/historic collections, and what we offer for genealogy instruction.

After the meeting, there will be a tour of the Godfrey Memorial Library in Middletown for those who are interested. For more information about the library, please visit

The Reference and Instruction Roundtable is open to anyone interested in adult reference and/or instruction at public, academic, or special libraries.
