Making Sense of the Dollars!

From creating a budget, to allocating limited funds, to fundraising, it is important for library directors to have strong fiscal management skills. However this is often not a major part of library training, leaving new directors feeling overwhelmed when they realize the buck literally stops with them. Join us this month as we talk all about the money and discuss best practices and ideas for budgeting, fundraising, and determining how to allocate limited resources. There will also be time to discuss other issues of interest to the group.

The New Directors Roundtable is a forum to encourage discussion, professional development and support among those who are new or new-ish to the library director role, and anyone from out of state who has recently taken a library director position in Connecticut.
