Kids and Video Games

With Stephen Duetzmann, founder of Engaged Family Gaming

At this special PM edition of the Gaming Roundtable, Stephen Duetzmann, founder and editor in chief of Engaged Family Gaming, will give a presentation about kids and video games - the games kids love, why they love them so much, and why that can be a good thing. He will also discuss how to determine if a game is appropriate for a child, and provide some alternatives in case the game they want to play is off limits. Whether your interest in gaming is professional or personal, join us!

Registration: Please register using the link above.

Engaged Family Gaming is a website dedicated to helping families find great video games and board games. Articles, reviews, and gaming news are selected with the goals of:

  1. Dispelling myths about video games and what they are.
  2. Providing parents with the tools they need to make informed decisions in their children’s gaming.
  3. Helping parents who might not be “gamers” themselves learn to understand the games their children are playing.
