Our First Meeting


Calling all academic librarians and staff!  Come to the first meeting of the Academic Library Roundtable, where we will get to know one another and talk about our goals for the group.  We will also share some ideas for future discussions, and welcome any ideas you have to share. We'll meet from 12:00 to 1:30pm, so please bring your lunch along! Agenda items include:

  1. Introductions
  2. Goals of the roundtable
  3. Topics for future discussion: Assessment, Teaching tricks, Classroom management, Programming/outreach, Technology tools, Future of academic libraries
  4. Discussion (if time)
  5. Future meeting times and locations

LOCATION/PARKING: The meeting will be held in the Woods Family Classroom in the Mortensen Library. A visitor parking pass will be included with your emailed registration confirmation.

MISSION: The academic library roundtable is open to any librarian or support staff who works in an academic library. The goal is to share concerns, struggles and triumphs that staff working in academic libraries face, and give staff a chance to collaborate and share ideas.
