Building Your Game Collection: Tips from an Expert

If you're looking for inspiration and information for building your game collection for today's gamers, this meeting is for you! Bryan Raddatz, manager of Time Machine Hobby in Manchester, will share insights about building a board game collection at your library for adults, children, and teens. What games are good for children? What games would a teen enjoy? What board games are popular right now for adults? What different types of games should you include in your collection? The meeting will start at Time Machine Hobby, and will move across the street to its sister store, The Portal. Don't miss this unique, inspiring, and FUN "meeting"!

About the stores:

  • Time Machine Hobby is a toy and hobby store featuring thousands of products from models, to puzzles, to R/C cars, planes, and helicopters. The shop spans two floors of a historic factory building, and features one of the largest train layouts in New England.
  • The Portal, Time Machine Hobby's sister store, is just across the street, and features a gaming center as well as retail game merchandise. The gaming center is available for war games, board games, and card games, with 15 tables suited for Warhammer 40k, Fantasy, Warmachine, Bolt Action, and Flames of War.
