We've signed the declaration. Have you? ilovelibraries.org/declaration

On April 16, CLA, with support from CLC and the Connecticut State Library, will host a "Connecticut Libraries Change Lives" multimedia and poster session showcase at the State Capitol in support of the ALA Declaration for the Right to Libraries initiative. The purpose is to promote awareness of the tangible ways that libraries are impacting lives right here in Connecticut. This is the perfect opportunity for public, academic, school, and special libraries to advocate for our value. CLC staff will be there, and we hope you'll make this event part of your National Library Week activities!

If you haven't read and signed the Declaration yet, it takes just a moment. Visit www.ilovelibraries.org/declaration/sign. There's a special "Declaration for the Right to School Libraries" too!
