"You should attend training – it will give you some ideas on leading and running successful roundtables. I look forward to putting some of this information into practice.” --2015 facilitator training attendee
“I really appreciate having this – it will help me beyond roundtable chairing!” --2015 facilitator training attendee
Does your job entail facilitating meetings?
Do you dread this role, feel that you could be doing it better, or just want some tips?
Then we have the perfect training opportunity for you!
CLC has partnered with Kim Crowley, Principal Consultant at Training & Development Support, to design a custom training specifically to address the challenges librarians face as meeting facilitators. By the end of this interactive training, you will have gained knowledge and practice in meeting facilitation issues like:
- how to be both a facilitator and participant
- how to structure your meeting to be most effective
- tools for facilitation
- how to handle difficult situations/participants
- how to alter the meeting styles for different goals and objectives
- ... and more!
You’ll have time to practice, and will be given tools for ongoing learning.
The training will be followed by a brainstorming/group discussion where you can share your best practices, ideas, and concerns with CLC staff and other participants.
This event is free, but registration is required, and is limited to staff of CLC member libraries & schools.
Please register using the link above.
Space is limited to 20.
