10:00am - 1:00pm (9:30 registration)

Adanti Student Center Ballroom
Southern Connecticut State University,
New Haven

$10 CLC members, $15 non-members

WHY ATTEND?

  1. Libraries that focus on community engagement (a MUST to remain relevant) need strong partners to help them.
  2. Finding new, interested and collaborative partners is a huge challenge.
  3. For LSTA grant applicants - Organizations have been selected to align with 2015 LSTA grant categories, and program timing coincides perfectly with your grant application.

ABOUT THE EVENT

At this unique event, you'll meet with representatives from a hand-picked group of ten Connecticut organizations working in social services, the arts, and humanities that are interested in building partnerships with libraries. First, hear a brief presentation from each organization. Then, visit with organizations in an "exhibit hall" format to discuss your unique interests, needs and goals. Staff from all types of libraries will discover programming and grant opportunities, make connections, and brainstorm collaborations!

LSTA GRANT OPPORTUNITY

Applying for an LSTA grant through the CT State Library? There will be at least one organization aligned to each of the five grant categories, and we've scheduled our program before the grant deadlines to help you achieve your goals! Learn more about LSTA grants.
