Please note location change! Due to unanticipated demand, we have moved the event to the Burritt Library at Central CT State University in New Britain. Registration has re-opened, as our new venue can accommodate more people.

Join us for our annual joint meeting!

This meeting will not be to specifically discuss the changes with reQuest. We may speak about it in general, but Steve Cauffman has scheduled five meetings around the state from June 9-18 to get into the details of the transition period between reQuest and the new system. For information & registration, visit http://evanced.info/cslib/evanced/eventcalendar.asp and select June.

NOTE: Space is limited to 60. Registration will close once the limit has been reached.

Our main topic for this meeting is Where can you find it?  Ever wonder where to find information on specific topics? Come join us as two special librarians come to tell us about their collections and services:

  • Genealogy Resources in 2015: Practical Tips for Busy Librarians - Thomas Kemp
  • HealthNet – Wendy Urciuoli

Plus:

  • Recap from CLA Resource Sharing Section:  Karen Carey
  • Report from the State Library:  Steve Cauffman
  • Other business

Directions/Parking:

The meeting will be in the Burritt Library, on the second floor.

Directions:  ccsu.edu/visit/
Campus Map: web.ccsu.edu/campusmap/

Burritt Library is off Ella Grasso Boulevard on the north side of campus.  A new dorm is being built at the end of Harold Lewis Drive which leads to the Library Parking Lot. This road should be open on Thursday morning, but we suggest going to the stop light at the bottom of the hill, by the Student Center, and parking in the North Parking Garage.
