  • Grand Finale program at the Harwinton PL will be a Hawaiian Luau - The last state added to the union, the last state celebrated in the Summer Reading Program.
  • Sing-along with All-American songs and beloved folk songs. --Fairfield PL
  • Create a Flat Stanley that patrons can bring on vacation with them.
  • Mask-making --Blackstone Memorial, Branford
  • Scavenger Hunt throughout the library: Children receive 2 library-related questions each week; for example, "How many American Flags are in the mural?" As a reward, children receive "Friendly Money" with which they can "buy" stuff from the Friends' store. --Westport PL
