About the Summer Reading Program
For 25+ years, the Fairfield County Children's Librarians' Roundtable (FCCLR) has been producing summer reading materials cooperatively at reasonable prices. In 2004, CLA recognized the program by awarding it with the Faith Hektoen Award for Outstanding Program.
2008 Program: Choose Your Adventure: READ!
This summer, the Children's Librarians' Roundtable of Fairfield County wants to take your library on an adventure of discovery with their summer reading program, Choose Your Adventure: READ!

Award winning artist, author, and CT resident Leonard Everett Fisher contributed the artwork for Choose Your Adventure: READ!. Mr. Fisher has authored over 80 books, illustrated more than 260, and designed 10 US postage stamps. Choose Your Adventure: READ! summer reading materials use the dramatic paintings from his book The Olympians, sure to inspire your young patrons to embark on their own mythical adventures.
Choose Your Adventure promotional materials - including Reading Logs, Bookmarks and Posters - are high-quality, 4-color and printed on 100lb "Tag Stock." Posters will be 13" x 34". A minimum order of 25 sets is required for participation. To participate in Choose Your Adventure, please complete and submit an order form (in PDF). Libraries will be invoiced and notified of pick-up. Final material design to be determined.
