Volume 7, Issue 6 - February 12, 2010

Welcome to e-CONNtext!

No, we're not going to call it that, but CLC is pleased to bring you the very first issue of CONNtext - online! No more PDFs to download - just read and click, and print if you like. Our stories will be abbreviated, with links to ctlibrarians.org for more information. CLC would appreciate your feedback on our new endeavor. Please contact Christine Sarrazin at csarrazin@ctlibrarians.org.

Our New Features  CLC LOGO

On March 1, CLC will unveil some new features to our web site.

On our home page, you'll see a link to your "member portal." If you receive this newsletter, you will be eligible to log in. Click the "member portal" link. For username, enter the email address where you receive this newsletter. Enter the password "library" - you will be prompted to change it the first time you log in.

If you are logged in, you will be able to register for events quickly and easily - the registration fields will be "pre-populated" with your information. If you are your organization's primary contact, you can pay CLC-related invoices online, or print out invoices and pay by mail. You can update your interests and preferences, tailoring the mail you receive to what interests you most. We hope you like our new features!

We are shutting down CLClist and our Google Groups, and using our new database to communicate more effectively with you. But to facilitate the interactive discussions that do take place among CLClist subscribers, we will have member forums available on a variety of topics.

The rest of our site will remain essentially the same. You may notice that the program registration process is a bit different. You may see some other subtle differences. But it will still contain the resources you like most, with the same look and virtually the same navigation system.

Comments? Questions? Email Christine Sarrazin at csarrazin@ctlibrarians.org.
